Lawrence E. “Larry” Dawson, DVM
 


Dr. Lawrence E. “Larry” Dawson, a native of East Tennessee, He joined the animal care team at Vet Care Animal Hospital in Greeneville in 2013, specializing in small animal medicine and surgery.
 
Dr. Dawson acquired his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He obtained a Master of Science degree from the Florida Institute of Technology and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University.
 
Dr. Dawson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the TN Veterinary Medical Association, and the local Five Rivers Veterinary Academy, having served as past President.
 
Dr. Dawson also served our nation for over 20 years in worldwide assignments with the United States Army, and since retiring from the military has been providing his services as a relief veterinarian throughout East Tennessee from Knoxville to the Tri Cities area. Having been a military test pilot, Dr. Dawson enjoys flying, traveling, cruising on his motorcycle, and a range of outdoor activities in his spare time.
