Hello, and thank you for your interest in our hospital! We’re happy to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about our history, our philosophy and our staff. And of course, we would love to hear from you!
Our History
Dr. Howell has been practicing in Greeneville for over 30 years. Dr. Howell, opened Vet Care Animal Hospital in July 1984. Practicing both large and small animal medicine and surgery, as well as, farm calls. Dr. Howell limited her practice to small animal and exotics in 1989 after building a new 4000 sq ft facility on 32 acres in downtown Greeneville at it‘s current location.
Our Philosophy
At Vet Care Animal Hospital, we take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their owners in East Tennessee and surrounding areas. Our team strives to provide a comfortable environment for our patients and clients and we want everyone, either two legged or four, to feel welcome as soon as they enter our veterinary hospital.
At Vet Care, we take pride in offering the most comprehensive diagnostic plans with state of the art equipment, to include, in house comprehensive blood analysis, digital radiography and cold laser therapy. Our patients are primarily cats and dogs, although we will see some exotic animals, such as ferrets, rabbits, and reptiles.
